Two birds of prey are depicted in the image. One bird is sitting and facing upward on the left, while the other is on the right busy with something on the ground. The color palette is mostly brown and black lines on a tan background, resembling an etching style. The larger bird in the foreground has its wings spread back on the left side, while the second bird on the right is bent over, with emphasis on its claws and head. Faint outlines of cliffs and hills are visible in the background.
