This is a drawing of a formal meeting scene. The drawing shows a figure seated on a throne-like chair, facing another standing figure who is gesturing with one hand. The seated figure is on a slightly raised platform, wearing a robe with an elaborate collar. The standing figure also has a distinctively styled collar and holds a document in one hand. Surrounding them are additional figures standing in a semi-circle, observing the interaction. The onlookers are dressed in period attire with various collars, creating a historical or judicial setting. The use of line and hatching in the drawing adds depth and texture.
