The image is an architectural etching showing a courtyard scene with a labeled "A" courtyard. The view is slightly elevated, giving a look down into the plaza within high stone walls. A section labeled "E" displays stairs leading down from a raised pathway. Near the wall, at "D", there is a column and two figures. In the courtyard beyond, a series of arches labeled "B" line the upper sides of a building. The architecture is detailed with line work, showing texture and depth with cross-hatched shading and outlined brickwork. The color palette is monochromatic, with varying shades of brown, giving the image a historical appearance.
