This is a drawing of a figure kneeling in prayer with celestial imagery. The drawing shows a figure in long robes, kneeling in the foreground amidst rocky terrain. Several figures are resting or sleeping on the ground to the figure's right. Above the kneeling figure, in the upper left of the image, a cloud formation can be seen, within which an expressive face is depicted. In the background, there are detailed trees and a rising or setting moon. The lines are fine and intricate, typical of a woodcut or engraving.
