The image shows a walkway with figures and structures. There is a flag on a tall mast to the right. The scene has a sketch-like quality with flowing lines. The color palette is mainly shades of gray against a light background. Figures in the foreground hold umbrellas, suggesting a rainy or windy day. As the path recedes, figures and structures become less distinct.
