Artist, Norwegian, 1863 - 1944

This print shows two people in front of a vast landscape filled with hills. One person is closer to us, and we see them from the shoulders up. They are turned toward us, leaning forward with a hand resting on their face. This person has long, light-colored hair that appears textured with defined waves or curls. Their face is deeply lined, with deep-set eyes, a wrinkled brow, and a thin, downturned mouth. They seem to wear a small black hat and a high-necked black garment. The other person stands behind them to the left, and they are facing away from us, looking towards the upper right corner. This person also has long, flowing hair that falls below their shoulders. They appear to have a circlet on their head, and they wear a dark dress with puffed white sleeves. In the distance, the faint shape of a building is visible in the middle of the mountains. On the right side of the print are several portions of text.
