A red house and green trees are painted in simplified forms and shapes against a black background in this abstracted, vertical painting. Painted in blocks of tomato or garnet red, the house is tall and has a chimney at the center. A gray, S-shaped line suggests a tree trunk to the left, and strokes and bands of green create tree canopies and grass. A red shape in the sky over the house loosely resembles a flag rippling to our left. The artist signed the lower right corner, “BLMER” with the letters conjoined.
