The image depicts a young girl standing with her body facing forward. Her arms are extended in front of her, holding a small basket of flowers and a single flower. She has a round face with large eyes, a small nose, and closed lips. Her hair is brown, styled in braids falling over her shoulders. She wears a red dress with puffy sleeves, a white waistband, and white pantaloons. Black shoes are visible beneath the dress. An open book is on the blue carpet at her feet. In the background, there is a green curtain on the left, a window on the right showing a yellow-green landscape, and a cat on the window sill facing the room.
