The image shows two young children depicted in a full-body portrait, standing side by side. The child on the left has light-colored hair pulled back tightly, large blue eyes, and a fair complexion. This child is wearing a blue dress with puffed sleeves, a black apron, and white undergarments with visible lace at the hem. They are holding a small woven basket filled with red berries or similar objects in their right hand. The child on the right also has light brown hair, parted neatly in the middle, large blue eyes, and a fair complexion. This child is dressed in a bright orange dress with long sleeves, a black apron adorned with green embroideries, and white undergarments visible at the bottom. They are holding two red cherries with attached green leaves. The background is a plain, dark brown canvas which complements the vibrant colors of the children's clothing.
