In the exhibition were 89 drawings of the Italian School, including works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Andrea del Verrocchio as well as works by Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt van Rijn, Peter Paul Rubens, Hans Holbein, Claude Lorrain, and Nicolas Poussin.

Organization: David E. Rust was the curator in charge of the exhibition, one in the continuing series of old master drawings exhibitions developed by Annemarie Pope for the International Exhibitions Foundation.

Sponsor: The International Exhibitions Foundation received a grant of $10,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts toward expenses.
