The image shows a group of figures in a skirmish near a large rustic structure. The horizon is in the middle, with trees receding into the distance. Trees frame the path leading to distant marching figures. There are no buildings on the horizon. The illustration uses intricate lines for detail, with crosshatching for shadows and depth. The color palette is black and white. Closest to us, figures wield poles in a lively scene. In the distance, marching figures are set against the sky and trees.
