Artist, Aboriginal Australian (Anmatyerre), c. 1910–1996

This painting displays a complex network of thick, interwoven, curved lines in warm colors of pink, peach, white, and yellow against a dark background. The abstract composition resembles a chaotic tangle, reminiscent of intertwined ribbons or overlapping pathways crisscrossing each other in a random pattern. The brushstrokes are visible, and the paint is applied unevenly in some areas, creating slight variations in color.
