Above, a large lamp-like structure hangs from the ceiling, casting a shadow on the back wall. The architectural elements in the room, such as tall columns and a checkered floor, create a sense of depth and structure. The figures are depicted with detailed expressions and gestures. The perspective and line work give the image dimension, capturing the atmosphere of an intimate and historical interior setting.

The background includes tall trees with heavy branches in front of a sky filled with thin, horizontal lines. In the bottom left and right corners of the paper, below the print, are small rectangles with text in them.
