Stefano Della Bella

Artist, Florentine, 1610 - 1664

This image shows a person with their body turned slightly to the side, and their head looking over their shoulder towards the viewer. The person's facial features are delicately rendered, with a composed expression and eyes that appear to be looking directly at the viewer. They have elaborate, voluminous hair styled upwards with decorative elements resembling feathers or embellishments, and a long drape trailing from the hairstyle. The person's clothing appears to be intricately detailed with lines suggesting texture and layers. The image is in black and white, resembling an etching or engraving, set against a textured, nondescript background. On the left side of the image is the word "Bella." Earring adornments are seen dangling from the ear.
