Overview: 30 works celebrated the 100th anniversary of the birth of Georges Braque, the originator of modern collage. The exhibition and its catalogue were a joint project of the National Gallery and the Musée national d'art moderne at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, where 27 of the collages had been shown the previous summer.

Organization: Dominique Bozo and Isabelle Monod-Fontaine of the Centre Georges Pompidou organized the exhibition, with E.A. Carmean Jr. at the National Gallery.
