Overview: 26 paintings, dating from 1889 to 1901, were shown of the artist's farm and its immediate vicinity in Greenwich, Connecticut. This exhibition was the last in a series of 3 exhibitions of American impressionists at the National Gallery.

Organization: Deborah Chotner, assistant curator of American art, was the exhibition curator. Gaillard Ravenel and Mark Leithauser designed the exhibition, and Gordon Anson designed the lighting.

Sponsor: Bell Atlantic supported the exhibition.
