Overview: This exhibition of 99 photographs and 3 volumes chronicled Alfred Stieglitz's artistic development by showing familiar images along with photographs that had not been exhibited during the past 50 years. The presentation celebrated the publication of Alfred Stieglitz: The Key Set: The Alfred Stieglitz Collection of Photographs.

An information sheet on photographic processes was available in the exhibition.

Organization: The exhibition was organized by the National Gallery of Art, Washington. Sarah Greenough, curator of photography, was the curator.
