Overview: 93 prints from the Rosenwald Collection and one from the gift of W.G. Russell Allen were shown with loans of duplicate impressions and related material. 85 of the etchings came from two 18th-century albums in the Rosenwald collection. The exhibition honored Mr. Rosenwald, a founding benefactor and trustee, on his 81st birthday.

Organization: The exhibition was held in the Widener porcelain rooms. The wall cases had been covered with panels on which the framed graphics were hung. H. Diane Russell organized the exhibition; Gaillard F. Ravenel designed the exhibition. Frances P. Smyth and Gaillard F. Ravenel designed the exhibition catalogue.
