Overview: 133 graphic works by Martin Schongauer, Albrecht Dürer, Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione, François Boucher, William Blake, and Jacques Villon, ranging from the 15th through the 20th century, were chosen from the collection of the National Gallery. Each of 6 rooms was devoted to the prints, drawings, and illustrated books of one artist, showcasing the museum's graphics collections and including many recent acquisitions and several promised gifts.

Organization: The works were selected by Andrew Robison, Andrew W. Mellon senior curator at the National Gallery.
