School Tours

The National Gallery will offer a selection of in-person and virtual tours (using Zoom) for winter/spring 2023.

Requests for winter/spring tours (January 9, 2023 – June 2, 2023) will be accepted from December 1, 2022 – May 1, 2023.

In-Person School Tours

Free tours at the National Gallery of Art complement and enhance classroom learning. During interactive tours, your students will look carefully at original works of art, ask questions, and develop their own interpretations.

Creative writing, sketching, and perspective-taking will help students uncover complexity and cultivate personal connections to art. Students will experience a powerful shared learning community where all voices are valued.
