Portrait Personas is a social media project run by Museum Educator Emily Mendonca that recreates famous portraits using everyday objects found at home. Join us to explore the different elements of portraits and transform paper into wearable art. You might be surprised by what you create!

The following materials are all you need to participate:

  • paper materials of any size like paper bags, paper plates, or sheets of paper
  • tape or string
  • drawing pad or paper
  • pencil
  • optional: scissors and coloring materials such as colored pencils, crayons, markers, or paints

Registration is required for this free program. Adults must attend the session alongside children. This activity is offered at three different times; please register for one of our upcoming sessions
