Each month, join us for a fun and relaxed experience featuring art making, films, and a variety of special pop-up activities. All activities are free, and most are first come, first served. Some activities require registration.

Films for Children and Teens
Recommended for ages 9 and up First come, first served
Watch films that share the joy, determination, resilience, and complexity of being Black and young.
Atrium, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
All ages welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult.
Drop-in art making is a great way to try your hand at creating art in an informal, relaxed environment. Art-making activities are designed for all ages and abilities.

Screening with author & book signing
In celebration of the recent biography by author Mark Alice Durant presents a selection of Deren’s short films and discusses the context of her practice and the vast influence her life and work have had on filmmaking. Registration is required.
