Schedule a Special Request Field Trip

We will offer a selection of in-person and virtual field trips (using Zoom) for fall 2024.

Request for fall field trips (September 30 – December 6, 2024) will be accepted from August 1 – November 1, 2024.

Requests for winter/spring field trips (January 6 – May 30, 2025) will be accepted from December 1, 2024 – April 5, 2025.

Please complete and submit this form at least four weeks in advance of the field trip date you are requesting. Groups must contain at least 15 students. 

Our schedule fills very quickly due to the volume of field trip requests. Please indicate alternative dates on your form.

Once your field trip has been scheduled, you will receive an email confirmation in 10 business days.

Please note that the time slots for East Building field trips have changed. Please refer to the field trip description for field trip availability.

Special Request Field Trips

We are happy to work with you to customize a field trip that meets the needs of your class or create a field trip that closely connects to your curriculum. Please provide as much detail as possible. Field trips focus on the National Gallery's permanent collection only.
